Many of us are addicted to many things. the addiction is just the symptom , it is not the problem, no matter what we are addicted it we are using it as a form of escape , to escape a problem or emotion for which we don’t have the tools to release the emotion or the problem. So we turn to the addiction. And while the addiction will serve to make us forget our problem for a short time, in the long run it will cause us a whole slew of problems.
